Harriet Jones: This is hardly the Queen's Speech. I'm afraid that's been canceled. [looks over] Harriet Jones: Have we asked about the royal family? [pause] Harriet Jones: They're on the roof, right. The Doctor: By the ancient rites of combat, I forbid you to scavenge here for the rest of time. And when you go back to the stars and tell others of this planet, when you tell them of its riches, its people, its potential, when you talk of the Earth, then make sure that you tell them this - [shouts] The Doctor: it is defended! The Doctor: [repeated line] Fantastic! The Doctor: [after threatening to bring down Harriet Jones with a single word] No, you're right. Not a single word... just six. Harriet Jones: I don't think so. The Doctor: Six words. Harriet Jones: Stop it! The Doctor: Six. [walks over to Harriet's aide, takes out his earpiece and mutters in his ear] The Doctor: Don't you think she looks tired? The Doctor: [the TARDIS has just crash landed on earth and a newly regenerated Doctor appears from within. He is a bit disorientated after his transformation] Here we are then. London, Earth... Solar system. I did it. [seeing Jackie and Mickey] The Doctor: Jackie, Mickey, blimey! No, no, no, no. Hold on. Wait there. I've got something to say. There's something I had to tell you. Something important. What was it? No, hold on, hold on... Oh, I know! Merry Christmas. [he suddenly passes out. Rose emerges from the TARDIS] Rose Tyler: What happened? Is he all right? Mickey Smith: I don't know. He just keeled over. But who is he? Where's the Doctor? Rose Tyler: That's him, right in front of you. That's the Doctor. Jackie Tyler: What do you mean that's the Doctor? Doctor who? Pete Tyler: [Rose has travelled back in time and saved her father's life when he was supposed to have died when she was just a baby. By doing so she has inadvertently doomed the human race] Your friend... he said "This is all your fault." What did he mean by that?

: Dunno. It's just... it just is. Pete Tyler: [hesitantly] I gave you my car keys. You don't give your car keys to a complete stranger. [slowly begins walking towards her] Pete Tyler: I trusted you, the moment I met you. "A wound in time". You called me Dad. [gets closer] Pete Tyler: You've got my eyes, Jackie's attitude. You sound like her when you shout. [he reaches out and tentatively brushes the hair from her eyes but then gets shy and removes his hand. Rose immediately takes his hand and replaces it on her cheek] Pete Tyler: It is! It's you! You're my Rose! You're my Rose grown up! [he hugs her] Rose Tyler: [starts to cry] Dad! My Dad! My Daddy! Charles Dickens: Oh, my... I hope this theory is validated... soon. Almost instantly, in fact. Henry Van Statten: The vault is sealed. The Doctor: Rose, where are you? Rose? Did you make it? Rose Tyler: [still inside] Sorry, I was a bit slow. [the Dalek pursuing her approaches] Rose Tyler: It's the end, Doctor. But it's not your fault... And you know what? I wouldn't have missed it for the world. De Maggio: If you want to negotiate, then I can guarantee that Mr. Van Statten will be willing to talk. I accept that we imprisoned you, and maybe that was wrong. But people have died. And that stops, right now. The killing stops... I demand that you surrender. Metaltron: [aka Dalek] Elevate. [hovers up the staircase towards her] The Doctor: Rose Tyler, I was gonna take you to so many places. Barcelona. Not the city Barcelona, the planet Barcelona. You'll love it, fantastic place, they've got dogs with no noses! [laughs] The Doctor: Imagine how many times a day you end up telling that joke, and it's still funny! Rose Tyler: Then, why can't we go? The Doctor: Maybe you will, and maybe I will, but not like this. Rose Tyler: [standing up] You're not making sense. The Doctor: I might never make sense again! I might have two heads! Or no head! Imagine me with no head - and don't say that's an improvement. [Rose smiles] The Doctor: But it's a bit dodgy, this process. [her smile fades] The Doctor: You never know what you're gonna end up with [a flash of light and the Doctor doubles over in pain] Rose Tyler: Doctor! The Doctor: Stay away! Rose Tyler: Doctor, tell me what's going on. The Doctor: I absorbed all the energy of the time vortex and no-one's meant to do that... every cell in my body's dying. Rose Tyler: Can't you do something?
