Chato是美国印地安Apache族的一个混血儿，在自卫时他失手杀了一个白人州长，之后便受到追捕。在逃亡的路上，他得知自己的妻子被追捕他的一个人强奸，于是他不再逃亡，反而开始去找追捕他的人，并将他们一一杀掉。久违的老查在本片大开杀戒，可以说是开正戏路。
