Jerry Cornelius: Fuck off, you Greek maniac! Nurse: It's much easier to run a hospital with all the patients sleeping. Jerry Cornelius: Easiest way to run the world, for that matter. Dr. Lucas: Well, that was all a bit... hmmmm... Dr. Powys: ...yes... Dr. Smiles: [Pointing to brains being kept alive in glass tanks] Do you know what that is? Jerry Cornelius: Well it's got to be a brain washing machine! Frank: What you need is some Tempodex, Jerry. That's what I'm on. Time-fix, it's my remedy for everyone. Can't you feel those millions of years waiting in your spine, huh? Waiting to find their way up into your back-brain, your mid-brain, your fore-brain? You'll never know you had so many brains, Jerry, till Tempodex starts opening them up for you. Dr. Baxter: Of course, the inevitable happened. Miss Brunner: It frequently does. [talking about Jenny, whom Miss Brunner had absorbed the night before] Jerry Cornelius: Strange chick. How did you find her? Miss Brunner: Delicious. [after Miss Brunner absorbs Dr. Baxter] Jerry Cornelius: Where's Baxter, then? Miss Brunner: Oh, he's somewhere inside. Jerry Cornelius: Now, I hate long goodbyes, so PISS OFF! [last lines] Jerry Cornelius: A very tasty world. Miss Brunner: What are you going to do now? Jerry Cornelius: Well, for a start, I'm going to sit here and get smashed out of my mind. And I also have it on very good authority that the world is coming to an end. I thought I'd go home and watch it on television.
