达斯廷.霍夫曼在片中从十几岁演到一百二十岁,是演技上的一大突破,另外马丁.巴山姆、费伊.达纳韦等演员的表演也不落俗套。 《小巨人》是部史诗性的作品,但是却不是那种气势磅礴的巨作,带有很强的戏说成分,很多地方拍得非常稚趣,前半部影片给人有点《阿甘正传》的感觉,而后半部却把主题提炼到了《与狼共舞》的调子上去了。
