      • Javed Shaikh: Ah, the f-word. As usual used with an utter lack of relevance or context to that most basic of human acts, which it so explicitly and yet so succintly describes. A sad but unavoidable linguistic travesty in these modern times! Dhingra: [interrogating the cops involved in the shootout] You mean all the charges against the ATS [Anti-Terrorist Squad] Dhingra: - lockup tortures, public shootouts, encounter killings are all lies? Javed Shaikh: The truth is not something that you read about on some piece of paper. The truth is something that you find out, on the streets of Bombay. Dhingra: [now as the ATS' defense lawyer, in court] I just want to ask one question. One question - that's it. It's a question for this court, for this country: it's not a question of law, it's a question about our homes, our families. You have a family... right now, your wife and child are alone at home and there's a man right outside your door with a gun. [pause] Dhingra: Who do you want that man to be? [the gangsters] Dhingra: Maya? Buwa? Or [the police officer] Dhingra: Khan? That's my question - I don't wat you to give me a long legal judgement - it's an easy enough question, give me the easy answer. Javed Shaikh: I've told you before, I don't want to join the ATS. I don't risk my life for the police anymore. Kaviraj Patel: Yup, now why would he want to join the ATS, he's got used to a cushy posting. Stopping guys and girls from kissing in the park!
