      这部片子在拍摄时遭遇重重困难，导演奥利佛·斯通更换为马丁·坎贝尔，男女主角的人选更是几易其主。女主角方面，先是凯瑟琳·泽塔-琼斯有孕在身辞演，继任者梅格·瑞安忙着闹离婚无心演戏，最后才定下和女主角一样热衷慈善事业的安吉丽娜·朱丽。男主角方面，凯文·科斯特纳临阵放弃，接着英国实力派演员拉尔夫·菲因斯因剧本分歧没有接拍，直到最后克利夫·欧文才同意出演。所幸，最后影片还是如期上映了，值得一提的是男主角克利夫·欧文。欧文在2002年因为在《谍影重重》中成功扮演了一个冷峻的职业杀手而成名，在此片中，他表现不俗。
