Jatin (Fardeen Khan) has completed his MBA in U.S. and agrees to marry Jaya (Sonali Kulkarni), a girl of his mother has chosen for him. He has never seen Jaya but agrees because he loves his mother and cannot let her down. Then he bumps into hot-tempered Karishma (Amrita Arora) on the way. They develop instant dislike for each other but become friends over the journey.
