To be with his American wife Rachael (Sean Young), Major Andrey Somov (Rodion Nakhapetov) of the Moscow Police Department moves from Russia to Los Angeles, California, USA. After failing to find work with the Los Angeles Police Department, he is forced to work at a series of menial jobs: first walking dogs, then as a taxi driver, and finally as a waiter at the restaurant "Russian Roulette." But, in his heart he is still a cop, and yearns for a chance to work in law enforcement.
