Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street in Concert (2001)

A filming of a live stage performance. When Sweeney Todd (an alias) returns after a escaping from an Australian prison, he is told that his wife has died and his daughter has been raised by the judge who framed him. Mad with grief, he vows to rescue his daughter and take revenge upon the judge who took away his love. Opening up a barber shop, he plots to kill the judge when he comes for a shave. In the meantime, he murders his customers as they sit in his chair. Sweeney's new friend Mrs. Lovett, who just happens to own a meat pie shop downstairs, has thought of a perfect way to dispose of the evidence. Written by Anonymous
