  • I warn you of this, Mother, that if this tie does not go round my neck, we don't go out to dinner tonight. And if we don't go out to dinner tonight, I never go to the office again. And if I never go to the office again, you and I will starve, and our children will be flung into the streets. 复制 复制成功 复制失败,请手动复制

  • Peter Pan: [singing] I have a place where dreams are born / And time is never planned. / It's not on any chart; / You must find it with your heart, / Never Never Land. Peter Pan: [singing] I'm flying... / Look at me, / Way up high, / Suddenly, / Here am I, / I'm flying. Captain Hook: But Peter threw me hand to a crocodile, who happened to be passing by. And that croc liked the taste of me hand so much, he's followed me ever since. From land to land, from sea to sea, he follows the ship - licking his lips for the rest of me. Smee: Well, in a way, it is a sort of compliment. Captain Hook: [bonking Smee on the head] Well, I want no such compliment. Narrator: If you close your eyes, you may see a pool of lovely pale colors. If you squeeze them tighter, the pool will take on different shapes, and the colors will become brighter - so bright, that in a moment they'll go on fire. And in that moment, just before they do, you will see Never Land. Narrator: Then, one night, a long time after, when it was once more spring cleaning time, the stars blew open the nursery windows. Captain Hook: The game is up. Those boys have found a mother. Smee: What's a mother? [Hook bonks Smee on the head] Peter Pan: [singing] I gotta crow. / I'm just the cleverest fella / 'Twas ever my fortune to know. Mrs. Darling: No, Nana. Don't disturb the master. He uses your house as his home, out of remorse. I'll wake him when it's time for his dinner. Tiger Lily: [the Indians bump into each other and scream] Shhhh! Make-um too much noise! Listen to Tiger Lily... When on Warpath: SHHHHHHHHH! Captain Hook: Split me infinitives, but 'tis me hour of triumph! Captain Hook: No! By carbonate of soda, no! Captain Hook: [pausing, out of breath, during the duel with Peter] 'Tisn't fair! I say it as though it were my last breath - it isn't fair! Pan, who and what art thou? Peter Pan: I am youth. I am joy. I am freedom! Wendy: Peter, what are your exact feelings for me? Peter Pan: Those of a devoted son, Wendy. Wendy: [Annoyed] I thought so. [She sits further away from him] Peter Pan: You're so strange. Tinker Bell's just the same. There's something she wants to be to me, but she says it's not my mother. [Tinker Bell replies "You silly ass" in fairy language] Wendy: I almost agree with her! Peter Pan: 复制 复制成功 复制失败,请手动复制

  • Wendy: Oughta be? Isn't there? Peter Pan: Oh, no. Children know such a lot now. Soon they don't believe. And every time a child says "I don't believe in fairies", there's a fairy someplace that falls down dead. Peter Pan: [singing] You're ready? Wendy: Ready! John: Ready! Michael: Ready! Peter Pan: [singing] Don't forget, don't be slow/ready set, here we go/Wendy, Michael, John... Tinkerbell, come on/Hurry up after me for soon I will be gone, I'm flying! Tiger Lily: Bird might be omen! Indian: Good or bad omen? Tiger Lily: [shrugs] Ancient Indian proverb... when in doubt... RUN! Captain Hook: Well if you are Captain Hook, then what am I? Peter Pan: A codfish. Peter Pan: [Wendy's about to shoot the Indians] Don't shoot! We're friends now. Children: [confused] Friends? Peter Pan: I saved Tiger Lily's life in the forest and she saved my life. Captain Hook: No little children love me. I'm told they play at Peter Pan, and the strongest always chooses to be Peter. They force the baby to be Hook. The baby - that's where the canker gnaws. I'm told they find Smee lovable. How can I break it to him that they find him lovable? Peter Pan: [Tinkerbell tells him what's happened] The Indians have been defeated? And Wendy and the boys have been captured by the pirates? I'll rescue her! I'll rescue her! [Tinkerbell notices the poisoned medicine] Peter Pan: What? That's just my medicine, [Tinkerbell protests] Peter Pan: poison? Nonsense, who could've poisoned it? I promised Wendy I'd take that medicine and I'm going to just as soon as I sharpen my dagger. [Tinkerbell drinks the medicine] Peter Pan: Tink! You drunk my medicine! [Tinkerbell flies about slowly and grows dim] Peter Pan: What's the matter with you? It was poison, wasn't it? Tink? Your voice is so low now I can hardly hear you. What's that? You believe that you could get well again... if children believed in fairies. Peter Pan: [the boys present Peter with their "bird"] Wendy! With an arrow in her heart! This is no bird, it's a lady! Children: A lady? Peter Pan: I was bringing her here to be your mother, and now you've killed her! Wendy: Peter, how old are you? Peter Pan: I don't know, I ran away from home the day I was born. Wendy: Ran away? Why? Peter Pan: 复制 复制成功 复制失败,请手动复制

  • Because I heard father and mother discussing what I was to be when I became a man. I want to always be a little boy and to have fun! So I ran away, and I've lived a long time among the fairies. 复制 复制成功 复制失败,请手动复制

  • Wendy: Peter! You really know fairies? Peter Pan: Yes, but they're nearly all dead now. You see, Wendy, when the first baby laughed for the very first time, the laugh broke up into a thousand pieces of light, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies. So now every time a new baby is born, its first laugh becomes a fairy. Wendy: Peter, why did you come to our window? Peter Pan: To hear a story. None of us knows any stories. Wendy: How perfectly awful. Peter Pan: Wendy your mother was telling you such a lovely story. Wendy: What story was it? Peter Pan: It was about the prince... and he couldn't find the lady who wore the glass slipper. Wendy: Ohhh... that was Cinderella, he found her, and they lived happily ever after. Peter Pan: Wonderful! [dashes to the window] Wendy: Where are you going? Peter Pan: To tell the other boys! Wendy: Oh don't go! I know lots of stories! Peter Pan: Do you, Wendy? Wendy: Oh the stories I could tell the other boys! Narrator: Some say that as we grow up, we become different people at different ages, but I don't believe this. I think we remain the same, merely passing from one room, to another, but always in the same house. If we unlock the rooms, we can look in and see ourselves beginning to become you and me. Wendy: Oh Liza! We're pretending we're Mother and Father and we're going to the ball tonight, come play! Liza: Always playing games? I have much more important things to do than play make believe and dancing. Mrs. Darling: What are you doing in my old hat? Wendy: We're doing an act. John: Yes, we're playing you and Father, I'm Father... a little less noise there, a little less noise! Michael: Mother, they never let me play Father, they never let me dance. Mrs. Darling: Well we'll soon fix that. [takes John's hat off and puts it on Michael] Mrs. Darling: There now, may I have this dance, Mr. Darling? Mrs. Darling: George, we must keep Nana, [whispers] Mrs. Darling: I'll tell you why. [to the kids] Mrs. Darling: Get ready for bed, children, now run along... [kids leave] Mrs. Darling: George, tonight I saw a face at the window. Mr. Darling: Face at the window, two floors up? Mrs. Darling: It was the face of a little boy, he was trying to get in. Mr. Darling: Well that's impossible. Mrs. Darling: 复制 复制成功 复制失败,请手动复制

  • Mr. Darling: Oh ho? Mrs. Darling: The first time was a week ago, I remember because it was Nana's night off... I was sitting over there by the fire, I felt a draft, and saw the window open... I looked... and I saw that boy in the room, I screamed. Just then Nana came in and sprang at him at once, the boy leapt through the window, Nana closed it quickly, but it was too late, he escaped. Mr. Darling: I thought so. Mrs. Darling: But wait! *He* escaped, but his shadow hadn't time to get out. I hid it... [takes it out of Wendy's dresser drawer] Mrs. Darling: I rolled it up, and here it is. Mr. Darling: Ah ha, hmmm... well I don't think it's anyone we know, though he does look a scoundrel. Mrs. Darling: You know, George, I think he comes back trying to get his shadow. Mr. Darling: I dare say... Mrs. Darling: But wait, I haven't told you all... the boy was not quite alone, he was accompanied by a... well I really don't know how to describe it... by a bolt of light no bigger than my fist, it darted around the room, like a living thing. Mr. Darling: This is most unreasonable... Mrs. Darling: George, what can it mean? Mr. Darling: What can it mean indeed? Indeed. Wendy: [about Neverland] Oh Peter it sounds wonderful... What's it like? Peter Pan: It's an island, Wendy. Wendy: A large one? Peter Pan: No, quite small, and nicely crammed, so there's hardly any room between one adventure and the next. Wendy: Who do you live with? Peter Pan: The Lost Boys. Wendy: Who are they? Peter Pan: They're the children that fall out of their carriages when the nurse looks the other way. They're not claimed in 7 days, they're sent far away to Neverland... I'm Captain. 复制 复制成功 复制失败,请手动复制
