Sam Brynes:
Well, Blanford, there's another story for your paper. When you write Fred's obituary, you might as well right one for the whole town too. Those outlaws have just about cleaned us out!
Sheriff Robbins:
Now, wait a minute Sam. Now, maybe the wagons got away. Maybe the bandits...
Sam Brynes:
That's just wishing and you know it. This will just be like all the others. No sign of the wagons, outlaws or anything else. I'm not blaming you, Sheriff. I just know when I'm licked, that's all.
Sam Brynes:
Miss Judy, you take my advice. When you get hitched, you make Tom take you out of Yellow Creek. That is, unless you want to spend your honeymoon in a ghost town.
[Nugget and Rocky don't want Tom to worry about the hold-up attempt that they fought off]
Tom Stanley:
Say, what were those shots I just heard?
'Rocky' Lane:
Shots? Oh, ah, just a little target practice.
Nugget Clark:
That's's right, just practicing.
Tom Stanley:
We'll need a better story than that when we tell the sheriff about the dead body down the road.
[Rocky is examining a horse]
Nugget Clark:
Whatja doin?
'Rocky' Lane:
Lookin' for Frank.
Nugget Clark:
Frank? Kinda mixed up, ain't ya? This is a horse.
'Rocky' Lane:
I know, but a hard-ridden horse may lead to Frank.
Frank Stanley:
Not so fast, Mr. Blanford. There's a price tag on this

Frank Stanley:

Frank Stanley:
I figure it ought to be worth twenty-five thousand to you.
John Blanford:
Why you cheap double-crosser!
Frank Stanley:

Nugget Clark:
Rocky! I thought you were on your way to Mason City.
'Rocky' Lane:
I was, but I ran into a detour.
[Nugget examines Rocky's battered face]
Nugget Clark:
Looks like you ran into more than that.

Judy Clark:
Where's Uncle Nugget? I wanted to say good-bye.
Nugget Clark:
Here I be, all packed and ready.
'Rocky' Lane:
Ready? Ready for what?
Nugget Clark:
Honeymoon, of course. Why, we're going to have the best ding-danged honeymoon three people ever had!
'Rocky' Lane:
Don't you think you better put that valise in back?
Nugget Clark:
