The Duncans are ready for a great Christmas in Palm Springs. Soon at the airplane, Teddy offers to get off the plane since the flight attendant said that whoever gets off gets a free trip to Palm Springs. Of course, Amy has to follow her. That's when they realize that the next available flight is in 3 days. While Teddy and Amy frantically try to find a way to Palm Springs in time for Christmas, from junky rental cars to buses, the rest of the family goes about their usual crazy antics in Palm Springs. In the end, the family is reunited and learn a lesson about the true meaning of Christmas.
