Father of actress, Leah Allers.Received several International Film Festival Awards, in 2006, for his Oscar-nominated short film, The Little Matchgirl (2006).Nominated for a Tony award, for co-writing the book for Disney's Broadway musical, The Lion King.Presented his new short film The Little Matchgirl (2006) at the premiere of a revival/promotional screening of the 1989 Disney classic The Little Mermaid (1989) at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California on September 7th, 2006.
