1940年任合众影片公司学员，在《香妃》、《赛金花》等影片中扮演重要角色。后进春明、民华、华成等影片公司演员。1942年后任中联、华影演员，主演《四姐妹》、《三朵花》、《草木皆兵》等影片。1946年赴香港，在《苦恋》、《玫瑰玫瑰我爱你》、《少奶奶的秘密》等影片中扮演重要角色。
